Privacy notice

By Jamie Rae is a small design studio based in Cape Town. This notice explains what happens to the information you send through this website. South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) applies to the handling of personal information.

What we collect

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, contact number, the date and type of your event, and whatever you choose to tell us about your plans. The hosting and spam-protection services also process technical request and browser signals, such as an IP address, to deliver and protect the form. The site does not run advertising or audience-analytics tools.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and — if you go ahead — deliver the work. That is the only purpose.

Who sees it

Jamie receives the enquiry at [email protected]. Cloudflare hosts and protects the form, including its Turnstile spam check, and Resend transmits the enquiry as an email. Those providers and their authorised subprocessors therefore handle the information needed to provide those services. The enquiry is not used for advertising or sold.

How long we keep it

A fixed retention schedule has not yet been approved and will be added before the site is opened to search indexing. You can ask what is held about you, or request correction or deletion, using the address below.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Spam protection

The enquiry form uses two checks to keep automated submissions out: a hidden field that only an automated script would fill in, and Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile runs small browser challenges and processes the signals needed to distinguish a person from automated traffic. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not access, store or transmit the form entries themselves.
